Title: Japanese for Everyone – A functional approach to daily communication
Language: English / Japanese
Author: Susumu Nagara / D. Telke
Edition: Japan Publications
Publication Date: December 1990
A book for learning the Japanese language by the practice, here’s what is offered in that book. This book will teach the Japanese language contextually.
Throughout the 26 chapters included in this book you can learn the Japanese language so structured and also so that it is usable quickly. This book formats that language so it is understandable and usable immediately.
How to pass customs or how to order in restaurants, or make an appointment, you can learn everything you need.
Finally, in each chapter, you have a dialog for you to stage, a list of vocabulary, grammar lesson and specific exercises to practice.
This book comes with a CD to allow you to practice listening and pronunciation.
What I love about this book is its structure. It took me months to find this book. I tried several before this one, but none satisfied me.
This is the closest to what I wanted. It allows me to learn Japanese grammar and context simultaneously. It allows me to learn what I need while learning grammar rules allowing me to make my own sentences.
The only weak point of this book is that it does not teach the Japanese Hiragana and Katakana. Indeed, you must learn them by yourself if you want to use this book correctly.
